CERITIFIED POLICE OFFICER - Flexible Part Time to Cover Open Shifts As Needed

$23.17 - $31.93/hour depending on qualifications and experience

About the Job: This individual will work a flexible part-time schedule to cover open shifts in the Police Department. Will serve and protect the community by police patrol, investigation, traffic regulation, and related law enforcement activities and use experience and judgment to respond to emergencies, preserve the peace and enforce the law. This flexible schedule involves rotating shifts to enable the Department to provide 24-hour coverage. 

Certified Applicants:  Hourly pay range of $23.17 to $31.93 depending on qualifications and experience in accordance with the FOP Contract. 

Experience: Must have graduated from a full-time certified police academy with current active Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification; Preferred candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience as a full-time Police Officer in the State of Nebraska, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability.
